The Loves Farm St Neots development for our valued client L&Q consists of 41 plots; 2 of which are apartment blocks containing 12 nr flats. Hennigans have to date undertaken all earthworks and drainage on site. Drainage works included 2952m of drainage, 2 nr attenuation tanks, hydro brakes and headwalls. Employing a piling contractor we have stabilised the ground with vibro stone piling (901nr stone columns were installed) before strip foundations were installed. Masonry works were taken up to damp proof course and cube 6 thermal flooring was installed including the final 80mm of structural topping. Works are still in progress with 3 Nr show homes having been completed to date. Externally car parks will be completed using permeable paving to prevent future flooding and enabling surface water management. The remaining estate roads are being constructing in block paving and tarmac surfacing. Communal footpaths are also a mixture of block paving and tarmac surfacing while paving slabs are being laid to the front and back gardens of the properties. Hennigans are currently liaising with the council to complete the off site footpaths and services. All gas, water, BT and electrical ducting to the properties have been undertaken.
